The Top 5 Business Photos Needed
I’ve never been a big a fan of telling you exactly what photos you need without talking to you first but it’s something that gets asked a lot. So I was able to narrow it down to the basic subject of a few photos I like to capture for each client, with some tweaks for their industry of course.
When it comes to running your business, you are the expert in your field. Don't you forget it!
But you may not be the expert in marketing and photography. That's ok. Take a few minutes to read through this guide on the top 5 business photos needed.
1. Headshots. Having an image you can easily share when approached to run an article on your business or update that email signature and profile pictures is such a game changer. You need to be able to showcase who you are right now not from 3 years ago.
2. Location or office. If you have a brick & mortar location, capturing the interior lets everyone know what to expect. If you do not have a physical location but serve local clients (like the photographer showcased below) you can showcase the area you are in.
3. Product/Service. Showcase those products and how they are used. If you provide a service, let's show it in action! This gives you the opportunity to talk about the unique aspects of the product or service.
4. Casual lifestyle. Bring out the personal here! More casual attire and more movement in these shots. Maybe capture something you like to do when you’re not working.
5. Creative shots. These are great assets to use as backgrounds on landing pages, advertisements or reel covers.
So if you are not sure where to start when it comes to showing off your business, I hope you use this list as a way to kick start your marketing!
