What is Content?

Let’s chat about content, what is it? It’s in my business name so I want to make sure you understand exactly what I mean when we talk about creating content for your business.  When you are planning your marketing strategy, and every business does, whether you working it on the side, are fresh in the full-time business, or a seasoned entrepreneur.  If you are thinking about what to offer and when to offer it, you are working on your marketing!

Some people think that they don’t market their offers they just talk about it briefly and that’s it, well that’s marketing!  Just on a smaller scale.  Every time you decide to make a move and let the world know about what you have to offer, you need content, written and visual.  We all know the statistics about visual content so I won’t bore you. (If you don’t know, just know that it is greater than copy alone.)

My mission is to support you in sharing your craft so your community can better visually connect with you.  We do this by reviewing your marketing plan and break it down into pieces.  Think about these questions and write down your answers:

What are your goals for the next quarter?

High ticket items or volume of the smaller ones?

How does your service or product help your customers? 

What problem do you solve?

What questions would they have before buying in? 

What made you decide to start offering this?

What makes you different from the competitors, your secret sauce so to speak? 

From there we take the offers you have and the amount of personal you want to sprinkle into your marketing and create a shot list that will capture and engage your community. All I’m saying about your content is, plan it but don’t overthink it!
